Geoff Snyder

Geoff Snyder

Ninja Trainer

Biography:

Geoff, a high school art teacher by day, has been training as a ninja warrior for the past 8 years.  A self-taught ninja, he began his ninja warrior journey by training at local playgrounds and indoor rock climbing gyms.  He and his children began traveling long distances to compete in ninja competitions and soon realized that the playgrounds and climbing gyms didn’t provide enough ninja-like obstacle for them to gain the experience they needed.  Instead of traveling 3 hours to train at the closest ninja gym, he built a small ninja warrior training course in his backyard.

In 2017, Geoff realized a dream and was selected to compete on season 9 of American Ninja Warrior in Cleveland, Ohio.  Born with a heart defect and living with the aid of a pacemaker, he competed as “The Bionic Ninja.”

Geoff brings a wealth of ninja knowledge to the Ninja Labs.  Not only does he oversee the curriculum of the ninja classes at the Lab, he is the head coach of our highly successful competitive ninja team and builds or installs many of the obstacles at both Ninja Lab locations.  He also is a competitive ninja and has been to the World Championships multiple times.  He believes anyone can be a ninja and knows the Capital Region is full of talent just waiting to be discovered.
